Animal genomics, coming soon

DextGen is building research tools for the next wave of dog genomics.

We are starting with companion animals, especially dogs, and building practical RNA-seq readiness and analysis support for research teams that need cleaner intake, stronger QC, and repeatable workflows.

Coming soonResearch-use-only. Not for clinical or diagnostic use.

What we are about

Making animal genomics projects easier to start, check, and understand.

DextGen is focused on the operational layer around sequencing-based animal research: preparing studies, validating submitted sample information, running reproducible analysis, and packaging results in a way that is easier for collaborators to review.

What we plan to do

Dog-focused first, broader animal genomics over time.

Starting point

Animal-first sequencing readiness

We are building intake, validation, and project planning tools for research teams working with companion-animal samples, beginning with dogs.

Next

RNA-seq analysis workflows

DextGen is preparing reproducible pipelines, quality checks, and clear delivery packages so exploratory studies can move with less friction.

Later

A guided research portal

Our plan is a lightweight workspace where projects, sample status, results, and founder review can be tracked without burying teams in spreadsheets.
